After taking a driving test in 2005 and failing, I left for university and spent nearly 4 years contemplating passing my test again. I looked around the usual companies that offer driving lessons and found their services expensive and impersonal. I then came across LDC and Jill! Jill put me at ease from the first moment back in the driving seat. Within hours I felt like I'd never really left the wheel and Jill's expert advice and friendly banter made learning a really enjoyable experience. The service she provided was flexible to suit my working hours as a full time teacher and in barely no time at all I had finally had that pink license I had been wanting for so long! I love the freedom and fun that I'm now able to have on passing my test, and I really do think this is testiment to the quality and professionalism of Jill's teaching. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any prospective driver in Oxfordshire; young or old!"

I approached Jill as a first time driver with no previous experience 7 weeks ago. With a new job in September I needed to learn how to drive during the summer and had originally intended to take an intensive course with Jill. As it happened Jill advised me to start as soon as possible and was very flexible in terms of fitting in lessons.

I would recommend Jill to any new driver because she is absolutely aware of how far or how little you are prepared to be pushed depending on your confidence. For me this was ideal as I felt that Jill ensured I made quick progress without me feeling out of my depth. It kept me from becoming too fixated by the pressure of taking my test. Jill's blessed with a relaxed, friendly manner...and lightning reflexes. Both of which I am very thankful for! I passed first time and was able to drive to work the next day!

"After having some lessons with 2 other instructors and getting nowhere i started learning to drive with Jill in august 2009. I did a 20 hour crash course and then took my test in september. I was under a lot of pressure to pass as i was planning on moving to Spain a few days afterwards, i'd told everyone i knew i was taking it and i'd already bought a car. I was a nervous wreck and unsurprisingly, i failed the test. I made a stupid mistake at a roundabout that was entirely my own fault. I returned from Spain this year and decided to try again. I booked another 10 hours of tuition with Jill to get me back up to speed. This time i didn't tell anyone i was taking the test so i wasn't under any pressure at all. Jill turned me from a nervous and timid driver into a confident and safe road user. After the 10 hours of lessons i took my test for the second time and passed!

I would recommend Jill to anyone who is thinking about learning to drive. I had 2 instructors before Jill and she is the only one i made progress with and i'm now a fully qualified driver, thanks to her. After passing my test i also completed the 6 hour 'pass plus' course with Jill. I'd also recommend this to anyone who has passed their test and i actually think it should be compulsory. Among other things, pass plus gives you a more in-depth understanding of driving in different conditions.

The most important of these i believe is motorway driving, as learner drivers are not allowed to drive on a motorway until they have passed their test it can be quite daunting for someone who has never driven on one before. Also, if you complete the pass plus course it shows you have a better understanding of driving than if you just passed your driving test, to reflect this, a lot of insurance companies will give you a big discount! Once again i'd recommend Jill to anyone who is thinking about learning to drive or for the pass plus course after you have passedyour test. Thank you Jill.

Having been unsuccessful with many driving instructors and driving tests in the past, Jill was a breath of fresh air, providing me with excellent support and guidance. Having just a few lessons with Jill I managed to finally pass my test! Her patience and friendly attitude put me at ease behind the wheel, which I found so helpful as a fairly nervous driver and made me actually look forward to my lessons for the first time! Just wanted to email and thank you so much for helping to get me through my driving test, I still can't quite believe it.

As you know I have been trying to pass for years now and been through a fair few instructors who I didn't feel comfortable with. Since that first lesson with you I have actually enjoyed driving and have looked forward to the lessons. You made the learning fun and went out of your way to make sure I got things right even the dreaded reverse park!! :o)

I suffer terribly with nerves and you have been so calm and patient with me throughout and so positive that the positivity rubbed off on me. I will be fully recommending you to everybody and especially to people like me who have been trying for a while and become disheartened with learning to drive. You are exactly the sort of instructor they need to help them achieve their goal of passing.

After hearing from my neighbour that he passed 1st time with Jill i decided she would be best for me. He gave me her telephone number and a few days later we where on the roads. Gladly i also passed my driving test 1st time. I realy enjoyed my lessons with Jill , she is reliable, accessible and highly proffesional .
